Zacharias is a self-taught artist holding a M.A. in musicology and her work is characterized by the fluid interplay and contrast between her diverse artistic practices—ranging from photographic techniques and the classical medium of painting to poetry, spoken word, music, and sonic lecture performances. Silhouettes and shadows, the big in the small, the space between the lines, and the dialogue between soft and sharp focus are recurring themes in her work. She is a member of ato.vision and the Norbecken artists’ collective.
